I saw a post about the new gpt 5.6.. their chart shows 5.5 is on par with fable 5.. I kinda stopped reading their post after that.. lol

I don't have a super high memory gpu, 16gb. But I got it to run `huihui-ai/Huihui-Qwen3.6-27B-abliterated-MTP-GGUF:Q3_K ` in llama.cpp and connected OpenCode to it. It is slow, but it is getting some work done.

the new ADM card is tempting for LLM use. 1300 with 32GB of vram. Yah it's slower then a 5090, but it's much mroe budget friendly in comparison.

Yah, in many ways it under performs. Like it's performance is similar to the previous generation card 7900 XTX,. And the vram is slower. But it does have 32GB of vram. And it's performance is similar to a 5070.

I think my dreams for rebuilding my PC will be pushed to 2030+. *sigh* Everything is just so expensive.

I have almsot everything but a CPU to build a 2nd machine. I might just make it as a back up,a nd or throw a 9700 in it.

I have no idea how the AMD cards might perform for some thing like DRL like alphastar at playing games.

I have the components for another machine, but with half the power of my main system. Hard to match when you run your system until they start to cause glitches from the age.

amd cards are great for gaming and crypto mining.
