when I build a pc, I see what is best price for performance generally. But I got a hell of a deal on my 7900GRE

I was a strong nvidia/intel proponent.. but this last pc i got (years ago now) was amd with amd gpu.. and while it is not as fast.. its cost was halved.. so my next pc (unless things change again) will prob be a amd one again.

I have had intel and amd cpus. Glad I went with amd my last build with the cpu degredation of the 13-14 gen intels

I just upgraded my cpu and gpu last year. I put the 5700x3d in I think, maybe it was two years ago

i was fortunate there.. i always need lots of ram.. got mine a few years ago.. and for the linux machine running win vm picked up old dell server that had 256g in it..

looks like pax dei changed, I ran it previously on win10 gen1 hyperv vm, but on a win 11 gen2 hyperv vm wtih gpu sharing it errored saying it cannot run in a vm. I will check my win 10vm

yea, even on the win 10vm that it did work on now fails.

Hmm.. that sucks. I'll take a look at it tomorrow and see if I can get it running or not.

Sometimes if you turn on hyper-v inside the vm it "double" layers and makes it harder for eac to detect.. but it also slows down the game
