I have a soundblaster card in my pc I don't use anymore, I suppose I could pull the firmware from that before removing it to swap with dma. That SB is taking up the pcie slot for the dma

I dont know if built in firmware works with eac.. but only 1 way to find out. I know eac did look for known build in firmwares.. But that aside... Yes you put the DMA in the pc that is running PAX. Chimera runs on a different pc connected to it via a USB cable.
