Login to the square enix management... you should see LEGACY beside the logo of the ffxiv game. Just to be sure you qualify as legacy.

looks like it isnt legacy regardless on the account being played since april to shutdown...awkward part i bought a copy for a friend on july...15 i think and he manage to get legacy on that one...I have no idea how that makes remote sense. perhaps because SE gave me several months free of XIV for some reason.

Yea I think they had a time cutoff.. dont remember when that was.. they definitely screwed some people over.. They should have given EVERYBODY legacy that bought the game!

I know its dumb, i shouldn't have accepted the free monthly payments from them.
