I am working on rewriting a java mmo's client obfuscated with ProGuard to human readable names.
I've been hitting the 5hr sessions on Codex and Claude consistently. Claude is spinning up multiple haiku and codex agents to do the work.
At one point I had it spin up 10 agents.. my cpu was on fire, that was a bit too much lol.

I will say, having max 5x has been nice to use Opus for planning, it is so much better than sonnet for initial plans.

I saw they fixed a claude bug that was wasting tokens.. have you noticed the fix?

Since they added the new codex pro subscription today.. they severly cut back plus limits. Before I could get about 3 days before i hit 50% today i hit 50% in less than 8 hours.

I've not been using codex much since I upgraded to claude 5x.
I have been using codex agents on high to help remap the ProGuard names, but claude spins up those agents. Yesterday it did seem like it ran out of 5hr sessions quicker than i would have normal seen, but I thought that was related to the 2x removed last week.

This jsut started today for me. All week never hit the 5 hour limit. Today hit it every 2 hours after I started using it.

I thought about canceling my codex plan, but yesterday, Claude could not figure out a bug, then I had codex look into it. It solved it really quick.
