1. Can you add a simple voice command that says Patrol Ended. or something similar? I'm Often watching tv while the bot is running and I really hate coming back to my computer and see that the bot stopped right after it said Started Patrol for some silly reason I missed like not enough items for a synthesis or I didnt change to the right profession to mine logs (done that several nights half asleep).

2. Since you have a flee mechanic for HP, can you find the CP, MP, GP as well? then we could have more advance synthesis based on CP like if CP > 99 then Key 3.

Is there a way to have the bot activate abilities while gathering? There are abilities that increase gathering High-Quality skill but the bot doesnt use them. I was wondering if there was a way to make the bot use them automatically when it's has a certain amount of gathering points? Also, when I start the bot and its GP (gathering points) is not at maximum value, it waits untill it is before it starts gathering, is there a way to have it gather right away and not have it wait till its gp is at max?

Yep, add a start fight, priority 1 hotkey to your HQ skill, unearth, etc. I like to set the MP to 90%. If you do not understand how this works, leave the MP at 100%. (basically if you can cast the spell at less than 100% MP, then its better to lower this slightly for a time tweak.. but we are talking about saving a few seconds is all).

Save, and go.

If you get the message you cant use until gathering, your comp is lagging a little.. add this hotkey to correct:

start fight, priority 0, key = nothing.. point the hotkey to a blank key.. this just makes the bot pause for a second

I love it! I’ve spent a few days working with MMOViper and reading the forums. I am very satisfied with the current state, but there are a few things that I think could be improved on. Here are the things that I couldn’t find any mention of in the forums.

List of features that I would like added to FFXIV Viper Bot:

1) Timestamp on Statistics Log UI (I know it’s in the text file)
2) Target Priority (If 5 different type targets are in one hotspot zone)
3) Ability to change profiles via Campaign Manager
4) Pausing the Patrol/Campaign stops walking/running in game
5) Make the Hotspots UI window work like the Campaign Manager UI window. (Move up, Move down, etc.)
6) Option to randomize hotspots once you have them setup. ( 1 becomes 7, 8 becomes 3, etc.)
7) Multiple flee spots
8) Assign a hotkey to run my Start Fight & Single Mob Hotkeys.

9) MMOViper - Load Patrol Window - Please increase the length of the drop down menus to fill the UI window.

1. timestamp. I tried this once, but it takes up so much space for the timestamp, I just dump it to the log instead.
2. This is on my todo list! Great idea.
3. Hmm.. that is a new one. Once I overhaul profiles, this will probably be possible. But not currently.

5. Yep, on my todo list. It is really need for editing.
6. This was on there originally, but caused more confusion that nessary. The better method now is to just make hotspots that overlap. Ie walk around randomly with record on for a few minutes and get a good path with random hotspots on it.
7. Ok that might be good for really large patrols and makes not sense to travel too far away. Good idea!
8. ?? More info on this one. I dont follow.
9. You can now expand the size of the window.. just grab the bottom left corner and it will make the whole window bigger.

Clarification on 8:

Once I get my Battle hotkeys all programmed, it would be nice to test these without starting a patrol. Instead I just walk up to a mob in game and hit key X (or click a button in the UI) to: Start Fight, Single Mob, AFter fight.

I would like to add some items to my list as well as get Feed back on the bottom 3 items on my previous post.

List of problems that I have with current features & suggestions:
1) Test Hotkeys not working?
2) Number of mobs per hotspot doesn’t work
3) Start from closest waypoint is buggy.
4) Line of sight issue. Must have flee on to continue. Why not just add mob to list and move on? Currently it has to add the mob to the list, flee, and return to hotspot near the encounter. Sometimes it doesn't follow the pathing correctly.
5) PLEASE fix the Logout/Shutdown.
6) The time stamp in the log file needs to reflect local system time.
7) When flee is activated, auto attack is still engaged. I have set a hotkey to turn it off on flee, but this takes to much time during flee.
8) Please change the background color of Notes so they stand out.
9) Please allow the combination of Ctrl, Alt, and Shift for hotkey presses. (Ctrl+Alt+5)
10) Please add a text box below the %MP and %TP so that I can note what that hotkey does. (Cast protect or Bootshine combo)
11) I want to copy my Campaign and rename it and then have it work in MMOViper.

What I would like to see is some kind of manual for the bot. I mean, doing basic stuff isn't hard to figure out but sometime I run across a button or feature and I don't quite know what it does. Like for example, "# of find/kill" for targeting. So does this mean that the bot will find/kill the number of mob you specified and move on? or will it stop attacking the mob once you reach the specified amount? Having a manual would allow me to see what the feature does and if its not working right, I would know and report it. I could post and ask around but I prefer to check the manual first, rather then wait for some kind of reply.
Another Suggestion I would like to throw out there, is the ability to link campaign script. With the current campaign manager, I would have to write a long script to get the bot to do what I want. Only to find out that I made a mistake somewhere and the only way to see if my fix was good is to run the while script. If I can link scripts, it would be much easier to locate, fix and test the sub script.

That is bugged in the current version. It got bugged when I updated the patrol tab. I need to fix it.. But yes it is supposed to work by letting you set how many mobs/harvest nodes you want to farm PER hotspot. So if you are in an area with fast spawning items, it wont get stuck at one hotspot, but you can have it resume the patrol after xx number.

I agree on editing scripts and "linking" as you mention. I have alot more plans for the tasking system. A temp fix for a long script, is to add at the beginning a GOTO task so you can have it skip down to where you want to resume your task. Ie have a goto 50 will make it skip to instruction 50 and start from there. Just put the goto as the number 1 item.

BTW, your Grouping function is not working right. I tried a 3 group pt last night, 1 healer 2 dps. The healer (follower) would sometime stop healing (no action at all, not even attacking) , which caused me to die a lot. The 2nd Dps (follower) would sometime not assist in attacking. When I look at the stat, both bot just select/deselect without using any functions.

The patrol setup is very simple. Basically, I have the Leader just stand in one spot and attack anything in range.

First off, nice tool. I appreciate the work you put into it, and your timeliness on maintaining it.

Q1 - How do I turn off auto homepoint upon death in FFXIV Viperbot? I tried turning Times to Res under Misc Options to 0, no luck. Many times when I die, I want to stay right where I am and receive a raise.

Bug 1? - I see you already know this, monitoring party member health was broken in the last update. The bot will cure itself and the person it is following (party leader), but will not cure any other party members. This forces the tank to be party leader, and an aggressive DPS to die a lot. Help! fix fast Please.

Bug 2? -Find Group - The bot only finds "1" Group member, should all party members in range show in the listbox? The bot finds only the party leader, unless they had previously left the party after the bot started. If the party leader logs out, or leaves the party for any reason; when they come back and given party leader, Find group will not find them. Only solution is disbanding and restarting a party all over. Closing and restarting the bot, or even rebooting the computer does not reset the party.

Q2 - Follow - Is there a way to set a follow distance?

Bug 3 or Enhancement request? - Is there a way to follow someone who is not party leader. As is, a heal-bot has to follow the tank (party leader) or they do not get cured. But, following the tank often puts the Mage in the path of cone attacks. Following a BLM or RNG is safer, with a move into cure range of lowest HP party member. If this is beyond the scope of this bot, and you use another tool for this purpose, that's cool, any recommendations?

q1, bot will always click rez in ffxiv. Make a new thread in ffxiv request form if you want to change this behavior.

Bug1, this is news to me. Things like this need to be posted in the ffixv forums so I can see it.

bug 2, same for this one, sounds like some of the grouping features broke with 2.1 and need to be fixed. Best to make threads in the ffxiv forum to help me see them. Things that get added to other threads wind up burried and forgotten.

During mining, when it is selected to mining, instead of selecting with the mouse, can I or what number, from the top to select the target name, to obtain the mining of multiple automatic?
