It should use it just a few seconds later after the chest. Its on a continous loop.. it doesnt actually check if you have an item yet.

And item 2 (ability) is not being used yet. But I have added it for the next version already. It will use it at 80% course completed.

I am also making some tweaks for speed adjustment.

I havent looked at trying to avoid monsters, or picking up chests, etc. but I'm getting there.


PS any tips, or ideas, please let me know.. as I want to make the AI better.

hi viper

i try out the chocobo racing. selected option 1 race track 1 to 3. during the race, chocobo dont sprint at all. it always last to finish the race. not sure i set it correctly

He should start sprinting after about 18 seconds or so.

The bot presses W by default.. I need to change that to the defined key Forward in the bot options. But for now its hard coded to press W to sprint.

Edit, next version bot will use options/movement/forward defined key to sprint.

also the chocobo racing seems to bug out after 10 races where it keeps cycling between which track you want to do and if you want to spend your mgp.

i have my campaign setup so it does chocobo racing then 2 tasks of go to task 1.

@lycoris, fixed in next release. But it should not happen every time.

I'll try to get that fix out. I also made some performance tweaks.. not sure if it helps or not at R60. But still tweaking things.

You can do that or use the Repeat logic.

@saichan, will go out with the next release. Hopefully later today.

Thank you SO much for the update!

I've been using this for a few months and it's great. Takes the grind out of the game.

I noticed you add the 'Add Obstacle barriers' to the Nav tab. It doesn't seem to work. Can you put up some instructions or a quick video?

Sorry, I forgot to remove Obstacle Buttons. It is a work in progress and is not working yet. (Disabled internally)

But the Nav mesh/clear is working now.

Hi Viper,

Great work on the update, nice to see it all implemented.

+1 here for having a nav mesh/jump pattern for choc racing, in R-120+ the races get pretty tough.

Mine was also firing the item key a second before getting the item from the first chest. Also, would be good to skip the cutscene when entering a race to make it a little more efficient.

Awesome update! going to have to learn what chocobo racing and how it works. Pretty sure if i stand in front of Cuff-a-Curr for hours on end, someone's going to get suspicious... :( Wondering if anyone on here will be able to write a "chocobo race botting for noobs" guide. :(

I will get one up with the navigation patch.. once its ready.. maybe around a week or less? With the navigation mesh to navigate, I think it will need a video showing how to do it. It will be pretty easy. Just race and record the mesh.. :) Then select it via the new task I will make for it. But that part still needs tweaking.. should be less than a week.

In the mean time, I am going to upload a new chocobo patch tonight that fixes some of the queueing issues and some performance tweaks. (will press button 1,2,3) now during the race.

I am thinking pressing button 1 every 10 seconds, 2 at 80%, and 3 at 50%. Thoughts?

All bots including NWOViper?

I'm so excited I got the bot working on my first day but Thursdays Patch screwed it up for me lol now I have to wait for update and to top that it's RP weekend on Neverwinter bah!

Yes, all bots can now easily add mounted travel. :)

Is NWO down? I need to check that.
