while i have never had viper get me in trouble in any games before, this part of SWTOR EULA has me worried
Near the bottom of Section 2B on the EULA page:
“To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that EA may scan your computer’s memory or hard disk drive to detect or locate any such unauthorized third party program or devices, with or without any prior notice to you at any time.”
most mmos now days scan memory that i know. but this is the first i have seen that you agree to allow them to scan your drives.

Quite a few MMO's have tried to do that, but usually they go outside of the legal law (ie blizzard used to do it, and the do not now).
Legally they can only scan their own memoryspace.
But it is a grey area, so use at your own risk.
